MS4 Permit Coordinator - Pinellas County
Position Information Position Description: This position performs administrative and technical work managing and coordinating activities required under the County’s State and Federally mandated National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit, and supervises Environmental Specialists engaged in NPDES compliance and outreach programs. Duties include implementing the County’s Stormwater Ordinance and related activities; coordinating permit requirements and annual reporting with the county departments involved; and leading the co-permittee team consisting of 21 municipalities and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Work is performed with a high degree of independence and latitude in the use of technical discretion and judgment. Assignment to work a variety of work schedules including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations. |
