Palm Beach County
Environmental Program Supervisor Hydrogeologist
(SWFWMD)

How long have you been a member of FSA (years)?
I have been a member for two years.

Have you served FSA in the past?
No, I have not.

What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board?
I believe in the potential of the organization, even if our goals feel out of reach. I have big ideas and a fearless belief that the diversity of thought committed to the same mission is where growth happens. As the third most populous county in FL (2026), PBC has a robust perspective as we balance development, Lake Okeechobee BMAP, and permit changes for the unfunded mandates that we must achieve.

What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry?
I am a Hydrogeologist by trade, the beginning of my career was focused in contamination remediation. I've worked in private sector doing FDEP funded Petroleum Restoration Program projects which parlayed to fire remediation where I was stationed and responded to the Paradise Camp Fire for two years in California and managed the project with a private consultant, funded through the EPA. After that project, I worked at DEP in Orlando in their Waste Cleanup group and here at Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management, I supervise the NPDES and Surface Water Quality Programs. My experience with pollution prevention and control makes me a great asset to the stormwater industry as I continue to learn about hydrogeological and engineering principles related to water quality and conveyance and grow with the stormwater legislation that we regulate.

Why do you want this Board position?
Professionally, I want to learn what other Counties and agencies are doing to understand better how Palm Beach County can be a leader in stormwater management. Personally, I want to remain visible in the sector to grow professionally; I may be relocating to Pasco County in 3-5 years to care for aging parents.
