I've been a member of FSA for 4.5 years.  I did participate in FSA training and conferences while working for the Department (FDOT) even though they are not a member.

No, not for the FSA Board.  I am currently a member of the Membership Committee and have served on that committee for the past three years.

What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board?
My long-term experience from both a drainage, stormwater, and permitting experience that includes NPDES MS4 and Construction Permitting. I am very enthusiastic to provide support and volunteer for the FSA Board and Committees to continue the legacy in bringing new memberships which are very important to the organization. I am very thankful for and have been inspired by all the leaders of FSA over the years and would like to provide my sincere support.

What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry?
I worked in the stormwater industry the last 35 years as a consultant and for the Florida Department of Transportation. I have the privilege of working for the Department (FDOT District Five) on the Professional Engineer Trainee Program, Drainage Design, NPDES MS4 and Construction Programs, and Project Development Manager. In addition, my engineering career includes working as an engineering consultant for approximately twenty years in the areas of drainage design, Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies as drainage and environmental lead, wetland mitigation design, water quality, NPDES MS4 and Construction permitting, and environmental permitting. My experience includes serving as District Environmental Permit Coordinator for FDOT District Five, Assistance Drainage Engineer, Permitting Supervisor, NPDES MS4 and Construction Permit Coordinator, and Project Development Manager. I am currently serving as the Engineering Division Manager for Resource Environmental Solutions that provides engineering support for stormwater design and modeling, wetland mitigation and restoration, stream and floodplain restoration, environmental and MS4 permitting, and nature-based solution projects.

Why do you want this Board position?
It is one of my long-term career goals to give back to the stormwater community at a very special time from both a water quality and permitting standpoint.  I have very much have enjoyed my time volunteering and participating on the Membership Committee and this has inspired me.
