How long have you been a member of FSA (years)?
I have been a member for 20 years.

Have you served FSA in the past?
I have served on FSA committees for nine years, including the Conference Committee and the Education Committee.

What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board?
I excel in innovation and am passionate about stormwater management in Florida. I have been dedicated to the state's stormwater industry for over two decades. My strengths include mentoring emerging professionals, implementing new technologies, and developing practical stormwater solutions for cities and counties. I am committed to educating the next generation of stormwater professionals and staying updated on current research. I routinely volunteer to present at conferences and other professional forums. My dedication to these aspects of our industry will help me actively advance the Foundation's mission.

What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry?
My career in stormwater began over 20 years ago as the first recipient of the FSA Educational Foundation scholarship. This scholarship came at a crucial point in my master's studies and enabled me to pursue a career as a stormwater professional in Florida. My graduate research focused on sustainable stormwater infrastructure and green infrastructure strategies. Since then, at Jones Edmunds, I've directly supported Florida's municipalities by developing stormwater design manuals, watershed models, and innovative stormwater management tools. My experience also includes permitting, designing stormwater infrastructure, and implementing forward-thinking technologies.

Why do you want this Board position?
My motivation to serve on the FSA Educational Foundation Board stems from my desire to give back to the profession and to support the next generation of stormwater leaders. I believe strongly in the power of education, ongoing research, and new technologies to significantly enhance stormwater management practices, improve environmental outcomes, and ensure sustainable growth in our field. Having been a recipient of the Foundation's scholarship, I understand the importance of this award. I also believe that the Foundation has an important role in supporting training and applied stormwater research in Florida. I would be honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Board.
