I been a member for 11 years.

Have you served FSA in the past?
At the time of the election I would've served on the FSA Board for (2 yrs), Education Committee (3 yrs), Education Committee Chair (1 yr), member of the FSA Educational Foundation Board of Directors (1 yr), and Conference Committee (2 yrs).

What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board?
What I bring to the FSA Board of Directors is my quick and thoughtful decision-making approach and a continued commitment to protecting water quality and regulatory compliance. My background in local government and stormwater/environmental programs has given me experience working with diverse entities in both public and private sectors, supporting compliance and coordination efforts, and keeping my objectives moving forward in an accurate and expeditious way.I am motivated, dependable, and well respected by my peers. I will continue to dedicate the time needed to support the Board’s initiatives, strategic goals, and help advance the FSA’s mission. I would be honored to continue to represent Pinellas County and contribute environmentally based ideas, and a strong work ethic to support FSAs short term and long-term goals.

What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry?
I hold a degree in General Biology with a wildlife emphasis and have built my career in stormwater compliance and environmental regulation. I began as an Environmental Consultant, where I gained two years of experience supporting environmental compliance efforts in the private sector.I then spent eight years focused on NPDES construction permitting and compliance, working closely with regulated entities to support proper implementation of stormwater requirements. For the past ten years, my work has centered on NPDES municipal permitting, municipal coordination, and environmental enforcement. This experience has provided me with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, interagency coordination, and the practical challenges faced by stormwater programs.

Why do you want this Board position?
I want to serve on the Board of Directors because I value the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the stormwater profession and to represent Pinellas County Public Works and Environmental Management. I am proud of the work our County does to serve a large community while maintaining a high level of excellence. I would be honored to represent our County and contribute to the continued collaboration and ever-growing success within FSA.
