Board of Directors, (4 yrs) as a consultant and (3 yrs) as public, Education Foundation, (6 yrs); Chair of Membership (2 yrs), served Membership, Legislative, and Education Committee throughout (21 yrs).

What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board?
Serving on the Board requires taking the time to review the materials, prepare for meetings, support staff and board decisions, being available when items need attention, and providing input and innovative ideas to further FSA mission and values.  I provide views that represent all the membership categories and am available to assist when called.  As membership chair, I have been able to contribute to growing the organization and to provide strategies on reaching more members. I keep my ear to the ground to see whether the stormwater industry has been and where it will be in the future.

What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry?
Amy Eason, PE is an Environmental Resource Engineer for Martin County. She has 29 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering with 12 years working, specifically in adaptation and resiliency.  Amy has performed stormwater modeling and designed, permitted, and constructed, numerous water management facilities providing stormwater attenuation, water quality treatment, nutrient removal, water supply and environmental enhancement, including inter-connected stormwater ponds, pump stations, and water control structures and has implemented sea level rise projections in the design of such facilities.  She has performed studies and alternative analysis for stormwater system retrofits and flood projects, stormwater master plans, and vulnerability assessments for several municipalities during her tenure in the private sector.

Why do you want this Board position?
To contribute to the the betterment of this wonderful organization and to steer the vision and mission of FSA to continue to innovate and evolve the stormwater industry.
