Meet the 2016 Scholarship Winner:  Jessica E. Voelker!

2016 Scholarship Winner Jessica Voelker and
FSA Educational Foundation Chair Kim Ornberg

The FSA Educational Foundation is proud to announce the 2016 Scholarship Winner:  Jessica  Voelker.  Ms. Voelker is currently enrolled at the Florida Institute of Technology, pursuing her Master of Science degree in Environmental Science.  Her thesis research focuses on the chemical forms of nitrogen in stormwater runoff from five Florida tributaries, examining the relationship between land use and chemical forms of nitrogen, nutrient concentration and tributary flow rate, and changing ratios of chemical species during transport.  Ms. Voelker believes that the better definition of these relationships will aid in better stormwater management strategies.
