Position Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering, seven years of experience directly related to the field in which the position is assigned. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering can substitute for one year of the required experience. A doctorate from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering can substitute for two years of the required experience.Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Physical Requirements/Working Environment: Mostly office environment sitting at a desk and operating a personal computer to produce work products with some field visits as required. Periodic field visits: Applicant must have ability to endure outdoor environments in uncomfortable temperatures, inclement weather, and remote locations. Licenses: Requires a valid Florida driver license or obtain within six months of employment. Travel: Requires travel to attend off-site meetings, sometimes outside of normal business hours including overnight. Ability to drive oneself to and from meetings.
