Collins Receives Award

Patrick Collins, newly elected Secretary-Treasurer of FASU, has been named the 1996 Government Engineer of the Year.

The award is presented by the Professional Engineers in Government Section of the Florida Engineering Society. It was presented to Mr. Collins in recognition of outstanding contributions to the advancement of the engineering profession in government.

Mr. Collins received his BSE from Memphis State University. He has been employed by Sarasota County Government for the past five years and is currently Section Supervisor for Planning in the Stormwater Environmental Utility.
