FASU Web Site Opened: http://www.fasu.org
The Association has established a site on the World Wide Web!
It is best accessed with Netscape or Microsoft Explorer, although
other browsers and services such as AOL and CompuServe also work.
After gaining access to the Internet, FASU's address is: fasu.org
Although it will be continuously updated, the initial site is
now substantially complete. Information currently available at
the site include the following:
FACTSHEETS - Stormwater FACTSHEET articles from
previous editions are posted. They are organized by month of publication
but may also be searched by subject matter.
Ordinances - Through a link to Municipal Code Corporation,
most ordinances concerning stormwater are available, including
those regarding stormwater utilities and also those on stormwater
permits and other development regulations. You can search other
jurisdictions' Codes so that "reinventing the wheel"
will not be as necessary when undertaking a new project.
Utility Survey - FASU's 1995 Survey of Stormwater Utilities
in Florida is available, as is its frequently updated listing
of current Stormwater Utility Rates and ERU sizes.
FASU Membership Directory - A Directory of all current
members and the contact's name, address and phone/FAX numbers.
Bulletin Board - FASU members will be able to post messages
or submit requests for information to the entire membership. Responses
to questions can be transmitted instantaneously.
Links - Links are currently available to DEP and EPA. As
the site is further developed, other links will be made available.
Tour - The site is password protected. Nonmembers can view
a limited tour of the site and its features.
The password currently is WATER (in all capital letters). After
the initial site is completely developed, the password will be
altered. FASU members will be informed of the change. Your
comments and ideas regarding the site are critical to its success
and are greatly appreciated! Please contact Kurt Spitzer with
your suggested improvements. |
