2008 Winter Conference

The 2008 Winter Conference provided an excellent blend of technical and policy-oriented workshops. In addition to the conference there were two pre-conference options: A special one-day technical session on TMDLs co-sponsored by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the required Laws, Rules and Ethics course for Professional Engineers!

Hotel Information
The conference was held at the Hyatt Regency Tampa located at 211 North Tampa Street in the heart of downtown Tampa. Conference attendees received a discounted room rate and complimentary parking.

Continuing Education
Florida Professional Engineers that attended the conference are eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) on an hour-for-hour basis. Attendees can earn up to 7.5 PDHs for the regular conference (Thursday & Friday) and up to an additional 5.5 PDHs for the pre-conference workshop and 4 PDHs for Laws, Rules and Ethics. Professional Engineers must have their license number onsite to receive credit hours. (FSA Provider #EXP00021)
